The Portshaven Branch 1880 – LBSCR
Golden Age Developments are proud to introduce our first pre-grouping route! This route is a fictious LBSCR branch line set in the Stroudley era. The line connects the docks at Portshaven to the mainline at Arunfield Junction, with an intermediate station at Chailey Gate, then onto Cuckborough Green. The route has been lovingly detailed to reproduce the era, with Saxby & Farmer style signal boxes and 19th century permanent way practices. In spite of being based in the 1880s, the route is suitable for operations up to the end of the Victorian era.
