An 8 mile branch line that winds its way through rolling hills and fields. The route is set in the midland region around 1946, during the transition from LMS to British Railways. This route is a teaser for a massive mainline route Trolley has got in the works.
Trolley has also forward-dated the route into the modern era, allowing you to authentically drive the route in either era. The forward-dated version also requires the Great Eastern Mainline route from Steam. Assets are listed, see the workshop page (modern) to find out how important each one is. |

Welcome to my LMS Route Project; a route designed to challenge and inspire all of the scenario creators and railfan lovers out there.
Well this is once again a fictional route set in 1950/60s Britain; specifically around the turn of the decade in the LMS region. If I were to put this place on a map it would be around the Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds area; the industrial heart of England. Large cities populated with vast factories and urban communities flanked but huge cooling towers from nearby coal plants. Now you may notice that this is no ordinary route on Train Simulator; it walks a fine line between realism and imagination comprising of 2 large loops at either end. These loops off the chance of unlimited running; not only for yourselves but AI traffic as well. This route was created with the Scenario editors in mind, allowing you to flex your muscles on multiple AI scenarios, mainline running and shunting puzzles. |
